The Department of Environment & Natural Resources is responsible for advocating and empowering CMM’s member communities’ participation and stewardship interests within the Federal and Provincial mandates relating to Environment, Natural Resources, Climate Change, Lands & Forestry, and Agriculture. This Department oversees Mi’kmawey Forestry, Environmental Services, Agriculture, and Climate Action Programs at CMM. These programs focus on research, education, training, youth engagement, advocacy, technical advisory services, and species at risk recovery work.
